2022 Hifiman Arya Stealth Edition
Long live music!!! This review teaches about the Hifiman Arya Stealth Edition, a full-size open-back pair of headphones. The Arya Stealth is a Planar headphone with a frequency response of 8 Hz to 65 kHz and comes in at $1,299.
Build
The HiFiMan Arya Stealth Edition is a blacked-out build of Arya and the latest tuned version. The spring-steel headband provides adequate clamp force but is not overbearing. The plastic used on the headband is of excellent quality and not cheap.
If I had to make one comment, it is how the earcups are connected, and that is by what looks like a thin metal bar. While this method works, this looks a bit odd
Next, we move to the show’s star, the ear cups! The Planar is high-quality, housed in plastic cups that seem to be of fantastic quality. However, as the ear cups are shaped, some owners may not like this. While I was reviewing the Aryas, this did not bother me.
The HifiMan stealths receive their name from the technology used in their Planar system.

The earpads are a combination of faux leather and high-quality fabric.
A suspension leather strap is used when wearing the Arays and thus provides a comfortable listening experience, as nothing else touches your head.
Unfortunately, each ear cup uses a single 1/8’ unbalanced connection.
Included is a dual 1/8’ cable to ¼’ cable.
